ASAP CLEANING SERVICES

THE CORRECT CLEANING PRODUCTS AND SUPPLIES ARE IMPORTANT

We use the right products for every cleaning.

Using the correct supplies for the surfaces you are cleaning and caring for, helps to protect them from damage.  Be sure to read the label before you purchase supplies, as they will list the surfaces and common uses. Even "all-purpose" cleaners aren't always best suited for some surfaces. Strong chemicals such as bleach and ammonia can permanently damage fabrics, laminates and other plastic surfaces.

A FEW TIPS, TRICKS & IDEAS

If your ice chest or picnic cooler has a bad smell to it, but it is clean, just wipe it out well and set a bowl of vinegar in it. Close the lid and let it stand overnight. The next day, there should be no odor.

Baking soda
is quite useful, and not just for baking!

Clean crusty roasting pans by sprinkling the pan generously with baking soda, pour hot water over the top about an inch or two deep and soak for a couple hours.

If your plastic containers start to smell, wash them in hot water with 2 tablespoons of baking soda.

Remove stains from coffee mugs by wiping the mug with a wet cloth then rub the inside of the mug with baking soda. If the stains are stubborn, soak overnight in hot water and baking soda.

What to do with those little pieces of soap that are always left over? Add a little glycerine and mash them up with a little warm water and you will have a liquid soap that is gentle and economical.

Socks
can be useful in protecting the ends of unused fluorescent tubes.

Candle Holders: To prevent the wax from melting and sticking to the inside of a votive candle holder,  pour a small amount of water in the holder, then place the candle on top. If there's already wax stuck inside your candle holder, pop it in the freezer for about an hour. The wax should chip right off.

Fish or Spoiled Food Odor: Place a bowl of white vinegar on the counter for a few hours. This helps the odor to dissipate.

Please, don't feed the dust bunnies.
